Job Title : Accountant
Job Description : Incumbents in this role are responsible for providing accurate and reliable financial and/or quantitative financial market data to internal database and/or internal and external clientele based on ‘off the shelf ‘ published financial industry source publications, financial reports and resources. (Data Adminstrator) Provides administrative support to the company research teams in regard to the maintenance of the internal database. Focus on ensuring accuracy and currency of data input of financial market information. Additionally, incumbents at this level may begin to expand or are in the process of learning the content sources and data sets used for a business standpoint (may deal with a single data set).
To assist the cash applications group with certain procedures (is auto application of bank feeds, journal entry creation and reporting).
Generation of reports of Get Paid system
Analysis of Accounts Payable related data and processing of various information requirements from O2C team
Assist in preparation of Accounts Payable related journal entries
Balance Sheet accounts reconciliation
Any other new reports required for management review
Note : US hour shift, we need to support in a 24/7 Operation.
Desired : Graduate degree in Commerce / Management with Inter CA/ICWA
Bachelors Degree in Finance/Commerce/Business or Accounting - Desirable with accounting background.
Additional professional qualification preferred.
Written and spoken fluency in English, Good interpersonal skills, good verbal and written communication skills.
Computer literate with working excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and familiarity with functions of a database and good at MS ACCESS tool.
Interest or knowledge of financial markets would be beneficial.
Accounts Payable areas desirable.
