Cisco seeks a Hardware Engineer, willing to learn and contribute in developing ASICs for the networking industry. This is a great opportunity to be part of the initial ASIC design team being formed in India for Cisco’s Ethernet access switching platforms, 2k and 3k product lines.
The job involves working as part of a team verifying feature rich, access layer networking ASICs. The candidate will be involved with all aspects of ASIC verification including but not limited to:
- - infrastructure development
- - authoring of test plans
- - test plan execution
- - coverage and code reviews
Job Responsibilities :
- Working closely with the design engineer to validate the test plan
- working closely with San Jose, US ASIC development teams to port and participate in developing key verification methodologies.
0-3 years of applicable ASIC verification experience. exposure/Experience is preferable in the following languages:
- - C/C++,
- - Vera
- - SystemVerilog.
- - scripting languages such as perl, shell scripts etc.
Typically requires MSEE/CS combined with 0-3 years of related experience, or BSEE/CS combined with 2-5+ yrs related experience.
