Job Description About SR&I: The SR&I Center of Excellence (SR&I CoE) in India was conceived to integrate and build Deloitte’s research and knowledge management capacities. The CoE’s growing team of research professionals focus on knowledge management, market & competitive intelligence, thought leadership, solution development, strategic planning and commercialization to produce high value offerings that generate bottom line benefit for clients and the firm. They work with R&D professionals in the US to identify development priorities and influence overall firm strategy besides supporting client relationship building activities. The CoE plays a key role in communicating and commercializing the firm’s perspective to a broad audience around the world.

Desired Profile  : B.Com, M.Com or MBA Degree in Finance or Accounting.
Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
0-2yrs of Work Experience. Preferable accounting and/or financial research related
Strong experience in using online information services such as Standard & Poor’s Compustat,Mergerstat, LexisNexis, CCH, Hoover’s Online, Bloomberg, OneSource Business Browser, Dunn & Bradstreet’s Million Dollar Database, Factiva and Alacra Business Web Search.
Knowledge of U.S. Tax and Accounting standards would be an asset.
Should be good with major business computer applications, such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access and MS PowerPoint.

Job Purpose: Conducting tax research and analysis aimed at supporting our U.S. Partners and Seniors in minimizing Tax Liabilities of Deloitte Tax Clients.

1. Supporting our U.S. counterparts with tax planning opportunities for large public/private National and Multinational companies, as well as
2. Significantly increasing the ability to identify, coordinate, and act on potential business opportunities.
3. Obtaining financial data and research materials supporting company and competitor profiling, as well as Tax product applicability.
4. Quantifying potential market demand for Tax products.
5. Collaborating with internal clients to assess research needs and determine the most efficient methods to obtain and disseminate financial reports.
6. Provide analytical support related to tax savings opportunities offered by Tax Business Group, and assist in the identification of potential clients through financial and tax related research.
