Job Description : The suggested position acts as a support for the ongoing project dealing with modeling of compressors in refrigeration systems. This would involve collecting and evaluating performance data of commercially available compressors from selection software and other sources.

1) Collect performance data from commercial compressor selection software (e.g. Copeland, Danfoss, Bitzer)
2) Organize data based on application, refrigerant, compressor type and operating conditions
3) Participate in numerical modeling of compressors using collected data and refrigerant properties using statistical software
4) Maintain the database for the developed compressor models
5) Work as a part of DSI/HTR (SWEP Heat Transfer Research) team in developing the software design, refrigerant properties etc.

Desired : 1) B.E/ B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
2) Good understanding of the principles of refrigeration systems
3) Experience in using MS Office
4) Good communication skills required
