Job Description :
Provide Process engineering support for the URS, FDS, DQ, IQ, OQ and start-up of and upgrades to Process equipments and process control systems.
Participate in design, FATs, SATs, commissioning, and validation efforts.
Assists ‘client’ groups in the development of control sequences for all system-controlled processes and equipment.
Participates in site discussions and execution, measurements to ensure that quality and specifications of design are met.
Reports to Manager- Process Engineering Technical / Functional Skills
Technical / Functional Skills
Develops process flow diagrams
Calculates and develops mass and heat balances
Design calculations for process equipment (reactors, heat exchangers, evaporators, dryers,…)
Captures requirements for the process control system and control philosophy
Determines operating, min and max conditions
Develops P&ID’s with the other concerned disciplines (manufacturing, project engineering, mechanical and instrumentation)
Calculates pipe diameters, pressure drops in piping,…
Prepares process specification for control valves, safety devices and instruments
Prepares all process related documents prior the project engineer
Prepares operating manuals including process descriptions
Participates in safety analysis
Reviews control panel layout and designs including power distribution, grounding requirements and I/O assignments
