Job Title : Helpdesk Support – Analyst & Team Lead 

Experience : 1 – 3 Years 

Job Description :
Responsible for monitoring threats to Bank of America’s network, infrastructure and software for vulnerabilities, mal-ware and supporting the Technical team to help resolve the threat
The candidate will be responsible for checking third party provider reports (like iDefense and Symantec) which identify threats against BoA technologies and assigning a risk rating to each threat as per standard guidelines
The role require communicating with software and security vendors from across the globe, internal technical support team of the Bank and subject matter experts with the Bank and its subsidiaries to coordinate a mitigation plan

Coordinating vulnerability assessment and remediation plans

The analyst will review the standard daily report from Third Party providers which identify technology software vulnerabilities based on High, Medium and Low alerts
For a vulnerability, the analyst determines whether or not the product exists within the BoA environment by utilizing IBM Tivoli and other official IT product standards SoR (system of record) for Bank of America
If the vulnerability is not found in System of Records, the analyst will contact subject matter experts (SME’s) (on phone and email) to gather the counts for these environments.
Based on the scan/SME feedback, the TM Analyst will assign a risk rating to the vulnerability using standard guidelines of the process
Once the assessment is made, the TM analyst will inform the Remediation team for distribution of the information within the Bank

Tracking/coordinating with vendors and Internal teams- Mal-ware Alert Notification

The analyst will monitors virus alerts from iDefense and Symantec on a periodic basis
The analyst reviews the alert and gathers available information on the mal-ware from standard sources and will notify the Security Monitoring team

Tracking / coordinating with vendors and Internal teams- Customer Credential recovery

Third party vendor (iDefense) recovers stolen online banking credentials and forwards the stolen credentials and recovered customer information to the team
TM Analyst will send email request to the Bank’s Information Security Business Continuity (ISBC) Support line for reporting of any such incident 

Desired :
BA/BCOM/BSC/BBA/BCA + CCNA certification/jetking/any other additional Networking knowledge
1- 3 years for work experience in IT / network field/IT Support helpdesk
Basic knowledge of network technologies & anti-virus
Basics knowledge of OS
Basic understanding of network protocols and services with their relevant security issues
Excellent Communication skills
