Job Description : The Technical Services team is a global organization chartered with providing world class services to the customer base of Cisco. The Technical Assistance Center (TAC) team is the core team that delivers these services. This is a fast paced, high impact environment where you will directly contribute to the success of Cisco’s customers in utilizing the latest networking technologies. You will see a wide variety of real world customer networks and be constantly challenged to expand your networking knowledge, ability to improve customer networks and to implement new services on the IP network infrastructure. Your success will play a direct role in increasing customer satisfaction scores, creating opportunities for Cisco to cross-sell and up-sell it’s products and services to existing customer base and all of this has a positive impact on the bottom line of Cisco.
Desired : The Associate Customer Support Engineer role requires an excellent combination of deep technical expertise and strong communication skills. As part of your development, the ACSE (Associate Customer Support Engineer) program will provide an extensive and intense work experience – using the Cisco model of education, exposure and experience. The Global Talent Acceleration Program [GTAP] signifies the next evolution in Cisco’s Service Delivery capability, and represents a new phase in Cisco’s cultivation of talent.
1. A 7-9 month training program, involving Classroom & On-the-Job Training modules.
2. Prepare for the CCNA certification and CCIE Written during this course.
3. Develop solid knowledge of baseline Technical Services (TS) skills
4. Develop knowledge as a Network Infrastructure (NI) specialist in core IP routing and switching
5. Should be able to work in night shifts.
