Job Description :
Review, design, develop, document and implement data models as per user requirements, create logical data model and translate into physical database structures that integrate with existing or proposed database structuresMonitor relational database to optimize database performance, resource use and physical implementation of databaseAddress a variety of database integration issues including migration between disparate databases integration, maintenance/conversion, capacity planning issues and n
ew applicationsManage data replication and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) operations for data warehousingMonitor and maintain database security and database software in conjunction with the Security ManagerMaintain availability and integrity of databases through multiple access schemes, facilitate sharing of common data by overseeing proper key and index management and data dictionaryMonitor and manage database backups, logs and journals, to restore/recover data as required. Manage the space allocation for the database and fine tune it to facilitate more efficient storage and monitor the pace of data growth and provide the infrastructure requirements to meet the increasing need.Install & configure the Oracle Discoverer 10g with Apps 11i. Configure middle tier cluster with shared APPL_TOP for High Availability and RAC database with Apps with Parallel Concurrent Processing.Configure Implementing Disaster Recovery solution for apps using Data-Guard & Maximum Availability Archit
ecture and 10g Application Server with Apps 11i. Configuring & Supporting Apps with multi Node RAC and multiple middle tier for High Availability.Patch, Clone, and Performance Tune various Application components including database.Monitor Oracle Applications database including Forms, Web, Reports, CM via Helpdesk Tool plug-in with email & mobile alerts.Assist the IT Infrastructure Manager in analyzing and improving ATG business processes in order to enable them to achieve their business objectives i.e. increase in productivity and profitability.

Desired :
Degree in Computer Science complemented with Oracle certification in database management.6 to 8 years of Experience in Database Integration environment with exposure to database design and managementExposure to ERP and system management.Ability to create scripts using SQL (programming/de-bugging skills), Unix shell scripting tools.Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in multinational envir
