About Company :
Our company develops and supports an electronic medical record system for hospitals. The application is being used in over 30 hospitals (mainly US) around the world to collect patients’ medical data. This application is an ASP.NET web application with a SQL Server backend. Users interface with the application using a web browser and we have supported Internet Explorer 6 & 7, Fire Fox, and Safari 3.0 for the Mac since version 4.
The dba (Database Administrator) will be responsible for supporting the application and the SQL Server database for one particular hospital outside India.

Experience:1 – 4 Years

Job Location:Mumbai

Job Description :
1) Data warehousing
2) Data Maintenance and data Security
3) Knowledge of extract-transform-load (ETL) tools and methods (ie, DTS, SSIS)
4) SQL Querying and Reports
5) Ensure that backup and restore are working properly and adequate procedures are in place for DB backup
6) Good knowledge of relational databases (concepts and constructs).
7) Ability to work independently
Will work closely with a US based team
9) Once a week conference call with US team

Desired :
1) Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or Computer Science
2) Proficient in MS Access
3) Proficient in MS SQL Server
4) Certification: Microsoft 70-431 (SQL Server)
5) Good command over written and spoken English

Skills:
1) Experience/knowledge of C#
2) Experience/knowledge of ASP.NET
3) Certification: Microsoft 70-528 (C# / ASP.NET)
4) Certification: Microsoft 70-536 (.NET 2.0)
