Job Description :

1. To design the interior trim parts & assemblies( Overhead systems / Doors / Seating systems) as per the given specifications & requirements on performance within the stipulated project timelines
2. Designing & modifying interior trim parts as per customer requirements to achieve its function considering interface packaging, manufacturing and assembly aspects.
3. Responsible for execution of given tasks with desired quality and within the given time
4. Responsible for Communication with customer
5. Responsible to follow up all the standard work procedures, methodologies etc during the works
6. Maintain current CAD file management practices. Learn and gain product knowledge
7. To release the design data in the system as per required product data management system within project timeline
8. Creation of Drawings & 3D annotations with proper GD&T and datum points in Catia V5 and Release it for Production.

Desired :

1. Proficiency in CATIA V5 (Part Design, GSD, FS, Assembly Design and Drafting) is required (mandatory).
2. Good capability to develop multi solutions to specific problems and analyses pros & cons, evaluate & identify the most optimum solution.
3. Basic working knowledge of materials (plastics, elastomers etc.), process (molding, forming, etc.) and tooling (injection etc.), used in trim parts
4. Expert in plastic product design preferably in automobile field
5. Working understanding of tolerance and location methods and schemes
