Job Description: Responsible for monitoring alarms in Data & Transmission (TELCO) networks.
Responsible for Identifying the alarms and creating trouble tickets and assigned to the concerned groups within a committed SLA.
Responsible for generating daily / Weekly / Monthly reports.
Responsible for identifying and escalating the Monitoring tools related issues to the concerned department and follow-up till the closure.
Basic knowledge in IP or Telecommunication.
Working knowledge on Network Monitoring tools such as Netcool, HP OV etc.
Working knowledge on Trouble ticket creation and tracking tools such as Siebel, Clarity etc.
6 months to 2 Years of Relevant experience in Telecommunication as Field or NOC Engineer. Must understand the IP or Telco device alarms.

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Good Oral and Written communication skills
Ability to work independently without supervision after initial process training

Desired : Candidate must work in 24/7
Should have command on the routing protocols like EIGRP & OSPF etc.
Should have hands-on on various switching technologies like STP / VLANs / Redundancy & High availability protocols
Should be familiar with MPLS technology
Should able to configure & troubleshoot WAN communication technologies like Channelised E1, RI, E1, E3, STM-1 etc on Cisco routers
Should have good understanding of hardware architecture and configuration aspects of the following series of Cisco routers / switches: 1800, 3500, 3600, 3700, 3800, 4500,
Should have good troubleshooting skills for above mentioned routers and switches
Must be certified CCNA
Training will be providing, up to 6 Months for Freshers
