Job Description :
Job involves coding/software development of various products based on 8 bit controllers (Freescale, nxp, microchip,renesas).
Coding involves getting data from user (key pad), displaying data to user (alphanumeric LCD, Numeric Display),
getting data from sensors (temprature, weight) and controlling devices (relay) and some logic and document every thing during the process.
Interafcing Devices -  energy meter ICs, display drivers, real time clock, eeprom etc.. You are expected to understand from datasheet and write code accrodingly.
User Interface – Display like LCD, Numeric displays, Keypads, IR / RF remote etc..
Logic – This is the simple part, understand the product requirement and convert to code. Most of the job is common sense.
Documentation – Before starting coding, plan for various subroutines, make flow diagram. During coding, go back and modify the flow chart (if required). Make test case and write program for testing.
