Job Details : Food Corporation of India, one of the largest Public Sector Undertakings, dealing with Food Grain Management and Allied activities, wishes to induct young and talented persons for the post of Management Trainee (Account) and Management Trainee (Technical). Applications are invited from Indian Nationals who fulfill the prescribed qualification, age etc. for the post
indicated below: –

Stipend during the training period of six months : Rs.8500/pm
Scale of Pay: Rs. 16400-40500 (Annual increment 3%)
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2010) : 18-28 years
Educational Qualification: CA/AICWA/ACWA (London) /MBA (Finance) from a recognized University/Institute.

Job Position : Management Trainee (Technical)

Scale of Pay: Rs. 16400-40500 (Annual increment 3%)
Stipend during the training period of six months : Rs.8500/pm
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2010): 18-28 years
Educational Qualification: Degree in Agriculture OR in Science with Diploma in Food Technology from a recognized University/Institute.

Process of selection :

  1. The selection process of category II consists of written test, group discussion and interview. The written test will be conducted in Hindi/English .The written test will be in two parts. Part I will consist of 60 multiple choice question of the relevant technical discipline and Part II will consist of 60 multiple choice questions of general aptitude consisting of Reasoning, Data Analysis Computer Awareness, General Awareness and Current Affairs
  2. The venue and schedule of written test will be intimated to individual applicant along with the admit card. The same will also be uploaded on the FCI’s website http://specialtest.in/fci On qualifying the written test, GD & Interview will be held for short-listed candidates. It is essential to appear in every stage of the exam.

Reservations & Relaxations :

  1. The prescribed qualification and the age shall be reckoned as on 01.01.2010. The maximum age limit can be relaxed for 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC-NCL (Non creamy layer) candidates.
  2. In case of departmental employees, there is no age bar.
  3. The age limit for PH candidates is relaxed by 10 Years (15 Years for PH candidates belonging to SC/ST and 13 Years for PH candidates belonging to OBC-NCL). Original medical certificate of the short listed candidates will be scrutinized / verified at the time of interview. Candidate selected under PH quota will be adjusted against the respective category.
  4. Age is additionally relaxed by 5 Years for those applicants who had ordinarily been domiciled in the Kashmir Division of the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the period 01.01.1980 to 31.12.1989. Any applicant intending to avail the relaxation under this category shall have to submit a certificate from a) The District Magistrate Kashmir Division within whose jurisdiction she /he had ordinarily resided or (b) any other authority designated on this behalf by the Govt. of Jammu & Kashmir in the effect that She/he had ordinarily been domiciled in the Kashmir Division of the state of Jammu & Kashmir, during the period from 01.01.80 to 31.12.89.

Apply :
1. All the candidates have to make Demand Draft of Rs.300/- (Rupees three hundred only) drawn in favour of Food Corporation of India and should be payable at Noida. If a candidate is found ineligible at any stage of the recruitment process due to any reason mentioned above, his candidature will be cancelled and fees will be forfeited. Fees will not be refunded in any case.
2. Application fee is not required from SC, ST and PH candidates.
3. Application can be submitted by a candidate for one post only most suiting with the Qualification, etc.
4 Application on the plain paper in the proforma appended below (type written/printed in English) completed in all respect, is to be sent by the ordinary post in an envelop super scribed “Applications for the post (Name, Post Code No. of the post applied for and category)”.

The application should reach on or before 06.04.2010 at the address given below. For candidates from North Eastern states & Jammu & Kashmir, last date for receipt of application is 20.04.2010.
