The FOOD CORPORATION OF INDIA, one of the largest undertaking dealing with Food Grain Management and Allied activities wishes to induct young and talented Management Trainees at the level of Managers in its different Cadres as well as Category III personnel for manning posts in the District/Regional/Zonal establishments in West Bengal, Bihar, Orissa & Jharkhand.

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals belonging to SC/ST/ OBC-Non Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) for SPECIAL RECRUITMENT DRIVE-2008 only who fulfill the prescribed qualifications, experience and age etc. for the disciplines indicated below :-

Stipend : Rs.8500 (Pay Scale after completion of training: Rs.16400-40500)

Designation: AG. II (Hindi)
Number of Vacancies: 06 posts
Pay Scale : Rs.5160-9500/-
Age : 28 years

Designation: Typist (Hindi)
Number of Vacancies: 02 posts
Pay Scale : Rs.4820-8530/-
Age : 25 years

Designation: AG.III(A/Cs, Depot, Genl/Typist, Tech.)
Number of Vacancies: 09 posts
Pay Scale: Rs.4820-8530/-
Age : 25 years

Designation: Steno Gr. II (English)
Number of Vacancies: 01 post
Pay Scale : Rs.5160-9500/-
Age : 28 years

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:-
For Code No. 01, i.e. Management Trainee{Manager((Genl.)} : Degree from a recognized University OR Degree with Post Graduate Degree/Diploma in Management or equivalent, Degree in Business Management; Industrial Relations; Mass Communications; Journalism; Public Relation; Information Technology; Training and Development; Social Sciences from a recognized University/Institute of repute.
For Code No. 02, i.e. Management Trainee {Manager (A/Cs.)}:CA/AICWA/ACWA (London)/MBA(Fin.) from a recognized University/Institute.
For Code No. 03 i.e. AG. II (Hindi): Essential: i) Degree of a recognized University with Hindi as a main subject. ii) Proficiency in English. iii) One year experience of translation from English to Hindi and vice-versa.
For Code No. 04, i.e. Typist (Hindi) Essential: i) Graduate or equivalent (ii) 30.w.p.m. speed in Hindi typing. (iii) preference will be given to the candidates knowing bilingual-typing (English and Hindi) and computer knowledge.
For Code No. 05, i.e. AG.III (A/Cs): Graduate in Commerce/Mathematics/Statistic from a recognized University.
For Code No. 06, i.e. AG.III (Depot): Graduate Degree from a recognized University.
For Code No. 07, i.e. AG. III (Genl/Typist): (i) Graduate Degree from a recognized University (ii) 30 w.p.m speed in typing and computer knowledge.
For Code No. 08, i.e. AG.III (TECH): Degree in science preferably in Agriculture.
For Code No. 09 i.e. STENO GR. II (Eng): Graduation with a speed of 40 & 80 wpm in type writing and shorthand respectively.

SELECTION PROCESS: The selection process consists of written test, group discussion and interview. The venue and schedule of written test will be intimated to individual applicants along with the admit card. The same will also be placed on the FCI’s website link http://specialtest.in/fci The written test will be in two parts i.e. Part-I will consist of 60 multiple choice question of the relevant technical discipline and Part-II will consist of 60 multiple choice question on general aptitude consisting of Reasoning, Data Analysis, Computer Awareness, General Awareness and Current Affairs. On qualifying the Written Test, GD/Interview will be held for short-listed candidates.

1. OBC Non Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL) candidates have to make Demand Draft of Rs. 300/-(Rupees Three hundred only) drawn in favour of Food Corporation of India, payable at Kolkata.
2. Application fee is not required for SC/ST/PH candidates, subject to submission of caste certificate from appropriate authority in support of his/her claim.
3. Application on the plain paper in the form appended below (type/written in English) completed in all respect, is to be sent in an envelop superscripted “Application for the post (Name), Code No” so as to reach on or before 22.11.2009 at the address given below clearly mentioning the post applied for should
