Job Description : The selected candidate shall be entrusted with the responsibilities of Testing of Software Applications, Writing Test Cases finding bugs, classification and posting of bugs, Co-ordination With development Team & Automation of Test Cases. This position is open for only freshers who would like to start their career with Softsmith as Software Test Associate.

Desired : The candidate shall be a postgraduate from any stream such as BE/MCA/MSc/MTech/MCom/MBA etc. Should have good communication skills and a decent academic performance in their postgraduation. If selected they should be willing to relocate to any city for client based testing assignments at a short notice. The selected candidates shall also have to undergo an intensive training for a period of 5 months at Softsmiths Head office at Chennai. The candidate shall bear the cost of this training programme which would be Rs 79000 (also payable in two instalments of Rs40000 & Rs.42000) to Softsmith for the training. The candidate shall not be paid any salary during the first five months of training period. They shall be paid Rs 6000 per month from the sixth month of their training (if posted in Chennai/Bangalore) and Rs 9000 if posted in cities other than Chennai & Bangalore. This would be a contract assignment for a period of one year and the confirmation of the candidate shall be subject to his/her performance and the market conditions.
