1. Undergone a 2 months Summer Training Programme at INDIAN INSTITUTE OF CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY (IICT), BIOINFORMATICS GROUP, BIOLOGY DIVISION –HYDERABAD during may 2004-july 2004

PROJECT TITLE:
SEQUENCE ANALYSIS OF AEDES AEGYPTI ACETYLCHOLINESTERASE-AN INSECTICIDAL DRUG TARGET

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT:

The project report consists of a brief description on Aedes aegypti, mosquito responsible for causing Dengue fever.
The project includes description, discussion & results of different Bioinformatics tools used for analyzing & comparing a protein sequence with other related protein sequences which are responsible for inducing Drug Resistance in insects.

2. Did an internal project at Department of Biotechnology, Kakatiya University , warangal , as part of course curriculum.

PROJECT TITLE:
Tissue culture experiments on DAUCUS CAROTA. The project includes raising callus culture, root, shoot and organogenesis from different explants like leaf, hypocotyls, and root.

OTHER ACTIVTIES:

Organized a two-day BIOTECH FEST-2005 on January at DEPARTMENT OF BIOTECHNOLOGY, KAKATIYA UNIVERSITY as a STUDENT CO ORDINATOR
The fest involved nearly 24 colleges affiliated to K.U, and representatives from different Biotech companies with their excellent scientific seminars.

Participated in BIOTECHNOLOGY WORK SHOP FOR COLLEGE TEACHERS for 5 days at DEPARTMENT OF BIOTECHNOLOGY, KAKATIYA UNIVERSITY .

Attended a national level conference on ENTERPREUNERSHIP AWARENESS CAMP IN BIOTECHNOLOGY organized jointly by JAWAHARLAL NEHRU TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY& ICRISAT for 3 days.
