As the economy in the Gulf countries flourishes and picks up there are plenty of opportunities and jobs for people who are looking for their first job. The jobs are available in the white collar sector that is in industries such as medical, oil and mining, hospitality and IT/software and also in the blue collared sector as in drivers, electricians, technicians and transportation.
If you are looking for your first job then the Gulf experience will not only add on to the weight age of your CV but also get you a good pay package.
There are some sectors in the Gulf countries that are perennially looking for more workers to join the work force.
The first of this is the medical sector. If you are a qualified doctor, nurse or health care provider then you will not find it difficult to get yourself a job in this industry.
Another sector is the oil and mining companies. If you are an engineer with a specialization in any field then the oil and mining companies will be more than glad to hire you. There are several rigs as well as construction companies that are looking for employees from engineers to right down to laborers.
If you are a hospitality graduate then the hospitality sector in the Gulf countries will be your stepping stone in the industry. There are several jobs available such as receptionist, managers, captains, and so forth. The several different departments in the hotels are always looking for more people to employ.
The IT and software industry is booming in the Gulf countries. These companies not only require employees with core competencies in the software and IT sectors but also for the administrative departments and the other support functions that come along with it. Hence, if you are an accountant, transport supervisor, training specialist, administrative in charge then the large companies will be able to offer you a first time job in any of these departments too.
With all the things that are on sale including insurance, banking, and merchandise they require people in marketing and sales too.
Now, do not fret if you are not that qualified but have a certificate in other fields such as something technical. In the Gulf countries there is constant construction and building work going on and for that they need plenty of technicians, electricians, carpenters and plumbers. They also need people in the supervision grade to supervise them.
The job scenario in the Gulf countries is extremely promising and there has been no sign of the recession touching them so far. The economy is booming and based on that they have more jobs whereby they are willing to take in freshers and train them to suit their specific requirements.
For freshers in turn it is a good way to gain experience and get an extremely competitive pay package as well. Therefore, if you have set your eyes on the Gulf as your work place does not let lack of experience deter you.
