Designation : Legal Coordinator
Experience : 0 – 3 Years
Education : LLB – Law
Job Description : The Legal Coordinator will negotiate and draft software license, maintenance and service agreements for tier one customers particularly in the Finance, Insurance, Telecommunications, Government and Manufacturing verticals. He/she will provide general legal support to internal TIBCO clients (lawyers and business people) in APJ, EMEA and USA and, review and provide feedback on RFP responses. Coordinator will also assist regional Sales Management and Account Executives and Corporate Finance/Rev. Rec. to structure transactions and expedite the sales/contracting process. Coordinator will report into the local India Legal Counsel who in turn reports into the APJ General Counsel. Coordinator will need to use TIBCO’s Contract Management System software for the general management and processing of contractual matters.
Desired : A law Degree. Qualified to practice law in the India, UK or US. Experience in either private practice or a corporate legal department negotiating and drafting software license, maintenance and service agreements (experience working in or for, large blue chip preferable).Understanding of software revenue recognition principles. Demonstrated ability to operate successfully with remote supervision and maintain the integrity of the Legal function while working in a sales office. Understanding of how a Legal Department interacts with Sales and other departments in a Sarbanes-Oxley world. Understanding of local company Acts and legislation that apply to the conduct of business in India and related ROC reporting and other company secretarial requirements including annual audits, board meetings and minutes. Excellent written and verbal English
