Job Description: Write testing procedures in the English language that describe detailed white box and black box tests for various software products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Execute testing procedures written by yourself and others. Correct minor defects in tested programs and report more serious defects to the development team for reworking. Properly record the results of your tests. Take formal responsibility for ensuring that software products are adequately tested before installation. Work closely with the Development Team in reviewing product requirements and design. Work closely with the Support Team to investigate fault conditions, and subsequently provide inputs to any fault correction process that might ensue

Desired : A strong sense of responsibility and an understanding of engineering ethics;
Familiarity with C++, Java and SQL;
Ability to write testing procedures and associated technical documentation in English;
In-depth knowledge of system testing techniques;

Additionally, you are required to fulfil at least one of the following criteria set out by the Malaysian Authorities:

A University Degree (any discipline) OR A Graduate Diploma holder (in Multimedia/IT) in Technical College PLUS Two or more years’ professional experience in Multimedia/IT businesses OR in a field that is a heavy user of multimedia; or

Five or more years’ professional experience in Multimedia/Information Technology businesses OR in a field that is a heavy user of multimedia; or

A Master’s Degree or above in any discipline. Successful applicants will be stationed at Wisma Genting, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Selected applicants will be invited to undertake a two-phase selection process. In the first phase, we will email you a short specification and a program that theoretically conforms to the specification. You will have to write testing procedures, test the program and send us your testing procedures and results. Strong investigative and problem solving skills.
