Title : Fabrication of Multipurpose Agro processing Dryer
Description
This project work is aimed at overcoming problems faced during drying process of food products. Drying is an important process in which the moisture content of the product is reduced which helps in preserving food for a long period
The bio-mass fueled dryer is developed for this perpose by using fuel like paddy husk,saw dust,charcool where the temperature is maintained in the range of 50 to 80°C. This heat energy is utilized for the drying process. Finally, test was conducted for drying ginger, cashew nuts in the developed dryer and the test results were tabulated. product quality. This test results were compared with test results collected from the solar drying process. These results showed better performance and increased the product quality
