This Position is for Engine DynamicsTeam Engineer role in GE Aviation AT department, PD&ST.
Engineer/Lead engineer is repsonsible for assessing the aircraft engine as a system for system dynamics evaluation thru numerical simulations. He is expected to provide design solutions for the challenges realted to system dynamics.
Job Duties :
- Assessing the aircraft engine as a system for system dynamics evaluation thru numerical simulations.
- Provide design solutions for the challenges related to system dynamics
- Effectively communicate with all the groups at global sites
- Dynamic assessment of the aircraft engine at system level
- Strong numerical simulation experience in any of the commercially available FE packages
- Design and analysis experience in gas turbine dynamics
- Problem solving skills to solve engine dynamic related problems
- PhD / MTech / MS in Mechanical/Aerospace/Civil Structural Engineering
- Demonstrated ability to lead design/analysis teams
- In-depth understanding of mechanical engineering, vibration, rotordynamics fundamentals
- 0-5 + years of relevant experience on Finite Element Analysis in relevant domain
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Unfailing dedication to deadlines and commitments
