Software Engineering Internship 2009 in Google India at Hyderabad

Google Internships are full–time positions. Start and end dates are flexible with regard to academic schedules, but you’ll be expected to commit to at least three months of full–work. Role: Software Engineer in Test Intern

As a Software Engineering in Test intern, you’ll work with Testing and Development teams to automate testing, create new test harnesses and implement new automation tools.

Work Location: Hyderabad

Responsibilities:

• Create test plans
• Set up test environments
• Develop automated tests
• Execute and maintain automated test suites and analyze the results
• Lead test efforts and explore new ways of user-interface test automation

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in computer science or related technical field
• Demonstrated ability to write code (C, C++, Java or Python)
• Demonstrated knowledge of, and aptitude for, software engineering and quality assurance
• Excellent knowledge of Internet/web technologies, such as browsers, HTTP and HTML
• Excellent analytical skills as well as oral and written communication skills
