Job Description :
Reports to : Housekeeping Team Leader
To carry out all cleaning duties to the Premier Inn quality standards. The individual is the custodian of the main product (rooms) that is to be used by the guest. To ensure guests are made as comfortable and welcome as possible.

Key Accountabilities

1. Clean and service all guest rooms and public areas to the Premier Inn quality standards.
2. Ensures strict adherence to the functional guidelines.
3. Communicate with guests in a friendly manner and when appropriate.
4. Providing information to guests about hotel services, facilities and other amenities.
5. Ensure public areas are kept to the Premier Inn quality standards.
6. Keep all trolleys and linen rooms well stocked for the next session.
7. Maintain facilities and equipment in perfect condition and follow procedures to keep breakages and losses to an absolute minimum.
8. Ensures that personal grooming, hygiene, and appearance are in line with Premier Inn standards.
9. Reporting to work on time (as scheduled) in proper uniform.
10. Attend daily briefings and pro-actively listen and participate as required.
11. Ensure linen is received, checked and discrepancies identified and reported.
12. Inspect rooms thoroughly and report any maintenance related requirements to the appropriate person.
13. Ensure guests’ personal property is dealt with in line with Premier Inn procedures.
14. Live and communicate The Goodnight Guarantee; ensuring guest complaints are dealt with and recorded according to Premier Inn standards.
15. Ensure health & safety, fire & security procedures, legal and policy procedures are adhered to at all times.
16. Responsible for reporting all guest and associate accidents immediately to the Manager/Security, so that the accident reports may be prepared / further assistance may be obtained (if necessary).
17. Assist and support the development of new team members through on job training.
18. Ensure maximum efficiency through teamwork is achieved at all times.
19. To carry out all administrative duties to the company standard.
20. To deal with & follow up all incoming enquiries efficiently.
21. Perform any additional duties as required by the Housekeeping Manager, Housekeeping Team Leaders or other managers from other departments.
