HR Interview Questions & Answers For Fresher Graduates
HR Interview is almost the last round of selection process in any organisation. However, it depends on the company’s selection procedure solely. Tackling the questions of the interviewer and putting them in clear sentences is of course a major and challenging task especially to the freshers who have no experience in the work field.
Here are some expected questions and their answers to help you in this regard.
“Tell me about yourself ?” is probably the first question asked by the HR interviewer to know more about your personal details and academics. Be prompt and answer to him in a short and sweet way, avoid speaking unwanted things.
He would ask you about “The right job for your career growth and the reason to select that part of the subject?”
Explain to him that this subject interested you the most than any other during your academics and therefore you chose to grow in this field. Put it in a convincing way to the interviewer or you will be inviting more questions on this.
You disclose to him that you would like to work in an enthusiastic environment where ethics and principles forms the base of any work and would meet the expectations of the organisation by fulfilling all the present day industrial demands and challenges.
Next question would be about “Why do you want to work for this organisation?”
Explain to him about your individual goals and tell that it would be possible with the aid of this organisation and its projects. Tell him about your curriculum projects and other live demonstrations you completed as a part of your academics. This will help him to evaluate your skills as well as your confidence level in taking up this job.
There are many other general questions which depends on the interviewer. Listed below are some of them.
- What would you look forward in this organisation if offered a job position in this company?
- Are you intending to continue your education in future?
- Interests and hobbies?
- Strengths, Weaknesses and appropriate reasons for each of them.
- Motivations and Goals for your career growth.
- Would you like to work in any part of the world if required?
- Will you be able to work under immense pressure?
- Are you prepared for working during over-nights and weekends?
- Time management and punctuality related questions.
HR Interview totally depends on the interviewer and the position you are offered. Be clear and precise in answering all the questions. You should be able to convince the interviewer.
If you have any questions regarding the company’s policies, rules and regulations, put them in such a way that you are requesting for the solution but not demanding the answer for the same.
It is only words and its usage that will fetch you the right job apart from being technically qualified. So be smart in putting down your views in a proper way and show him that you are the right person for that position.
