Job Description : Perform IT Security related tasks – user account administration/Logs Review/SSL certificate administration etc while providing access related assistance to the users. (Active Directory, AS400, Lotus Notes, Remote Access etc)
Provide access for operating systems and selected applications.
Provide data and system security control, technical support and problem resolution assistance.
Perform access revalidations.
Manage encryption keys.
Review security logs for selected servers and follow-up on findings.
Support Information Security trouble tickets.
Manage and follow-up with internal and external audits.
Acquire a thorough understanding of the process procedures, keep abreast with changes made and provide quality services to the users.
Be a team player and actively participate in Daily/Weekly/Monthly meets etc.
Be resourceful, innovative and show initiative while supporting any team projects taken up;
Be responsible for ensuring the Service Level Agreements are met.
To handle acceptable volume of User requests and completes them in the specified Turn Around Time thereby contributing to PLA with Business Area.
Advise users (where applicable) in a structured manner with adequate explanation of issues, communicate as per group guidelines and establish positive relationships and maintain effective liaison with all departments.
Perform as per the set quality standards and procure satisfactory rating in the Quality audits performed as per parameters mentioned in the Quality document
To adhere to the security and compliance standards and deliver good customer service.
Ensure positive relationships are built and maintained with all parties ensuring recommendations are made and cascaded across the team
Flexibility to work in shifts and willingness to relocate within the GSC according to the business need
Ensure that written responses are accurate, professional, clear and concise
Ensure that knowledge and experience are shared with colleagues, providing assistance on referred/technical issues
Facilitate prompt resolution of problems/assistance sought as per PLAs.
An eye for Quality and suggest improvement over the current practices.

Should have Good knowledge on Hardware and Networking.
Good analytical skills to review understand and interpret documentation.
Good knowledge about the fundamentals of Different Applications, Operating Systems used in the HSBC like the CWD Desktops
