Job Description :
In this position, you will be responsible to collaborate with software and/or debug and/or application engineers and software and/or validation architects to understand requirements, design and implementation of software modules and come up with validation strategies, test plan and black/white box feature and performance related tests for the modules to ensure certain quality criteria for software release is met. You will understand overall product requirements and product software architecture to optimize tests across modules and leverage automation for quicker, wider test coverage. You will respond to customer and/or client requests or events as they occur. You will develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education, judgment and formal software and validation process.

Desired :
You must possess a Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Computer Engineering or a related discipline such as Information Technology, Electrical or Electronics Engineering and a minimum of six years (or four years with a Master’s degree) of relevant software development and/or software validation experience including at least two years of experience in design and development of Windows* based software and/or test automation. Additional qualifications include:
Technical skills include C, C++, a scripting language such as Ruby*, Windows* SDK or DDK programming, and various software development, validation and performance measurement tools such as ClearCase*, Bounds* Checker, Code Coverage* – Bull’s eye* and Win Bench*
Knowledge of basic computer science: data structures, operating systems, architecture, software life cycle, software design and validation methodologies (such as OOD)
Technical leadership experience would be an added advantage
Knowledge of device driver development and Intel? architecture would be an added advantage, preferably specific experience with Graphics Architecture or Graphics drivers
Knowledge of Windows* device driver model and PC graphics would be an added advantage
