Job Title : IT Helpdesk Analyst Level – I

Experience : 0 – 3 Years

Location : Mumbai

Job Description :
As a Help Desk Specialist you will provide first line support (productivity tools, business applications and workstation environment) to the Helpdesk customers.
The support will include problem identification, analysis, diagnosis and resolution.
You are responsible for the escalation to other centres of expertise (e.g. on-site teams, development teams, etc).
You can be assigned technical tasks regarding new services or customer implementations.
You will provide input to the Knowledge Specialist as and when required.

Desired :
Prior work experience in a customer support or technical support role is preferred.
Flexible to scheduling.
Fluency in English, both oral and written is a must.
At least 1-3 years of experience in a support environment preferred
Network +, A+ MCP is desirable (but not essential) or equivalent knowledge level
Advanced knowledge level of Windows 95, 98 2000, NT and XP
A high level understanding of communication and networking technology (TCP/IP and other network protocols).
Advanced knowledge of the Internet (especially Internet Explorer and Netscape).
Advanced trouble-shooting skills with MS Office (95 and 97 and 2000 and XP) suite.
A high level knowledge of PC hardware equipment and utilisation (printers, scanners, modems, network cards).
Experience in UNIX & Novel would be desirable (but not essential)
