Job Description :
Drafting – All contracts like Lease Agreements, Clearing and Forwarding Agency Agreements, After-Sales Agreements, Confidentiality Agreements, Dealership Agreements, Annual Maintenance Contracts – Coordinating with the concerned departments in finalisation of the Draft agreements and negotiating on terms most favorable to the Company thus ensuring Company is well protected. Follow up for renewals/ termination of agreements.

Litigation against dealers in recovery of outstanding in coordination with the head of commercials – Notices, Follow-ups, appearing in courts and attending hearings.

Defending the Company in Consumer Forum cases in coordination with the Senior Service Managers – reply to notices, follow-up, advice on out of court settlement or defend the company by contesting the same in the Forum.

Defense of any case in pursuant to a Case having been filed by any third party in general – eg. Cases filed by Suppliers, Labour related cases, Replying to Notices, follow-up in coordination with the Senior Commercial Managers.

Statutory Compliances: Under Standards of Weights and Measures Act, Restrictive Trade Practice Act and Personnel Laws and Disputes relating to the same in coordination with the Senior Legal Counsel – Reply to the necessary authority, advice on the steps to be taken in complying with the relevant laws or to contest before the authorities.

To advice the Branches on all queries relating to Legal Compliance in coordination with the Senior Commercial/Service Managers.

To ask for documents pertaining to all litigation from the branches.

Co-ordinating with branches for negotiating with the Landlords and C& F Agents for finalising agreements.
