Job Description: Editing stories ensuring that they meet strict quality targets of accuracy, speed and completeness.
Checking stories against the source to ensure they contain all elements.
Editing various news articles; editing includes the language correctness applying the style aspects as per the specification.
Distributing load and balancing flow of news items that comes from the reporters & writing teams.
Editing / rewriting stories and coordinating with reporters to meet tight deadlines.
Desired Profile : Should be a graduate or postgraduate diploma holder or postgraduate in Mass Communication.
Can also be a graduate in any stream with an additional degree in journalism.
Should possess brilliant articulation skills.
Should have good editing skills and an understanding for content attributes.
Candidates with prior sub editing or media experience are preferred.
Should be open to work in a 24*7 environment and flexible shifts / work timings.
