Job Title : Foreign Exchange Officer / Mutual Fund Analyst

Experience:  0 – 3 years  

Education: M.Com  

Desired : Bachelor’s in commerce and accounting domain necessary.
Experience Requirement – relevant experience in the securities market.
Background in finance desirable
Experience in related line of business desirable (trade settlements, corporate actions, securities processing)
Good communication skills required – both oral and written
Heavy interaction with many US sites – ability to communicate well in English
Proficient in MS Office Applications

Job Description : Communicates and resolves trade issues with Fiduciary Trust’s Global Custodian and Account Administrators.  Processes domestic and international equity, fixed income and foreign exchange transactions to TIS and Global Plus.  Affirms trades in JP Morgan’s Titan System for Custody only accounts.  Researches and resolves trade settlement issues for Custody only accounts.  Processes beneficial market Foreign Exchange transactions to Global Plus and General Ledger

Run FX trade log reports from Eagle Link System.  Confirms FX transactions verbally and through the Crossmar Matching System (CMS).  Maintains spreadsheet of forward transactions for the Fixed Income Group at Fiduciary Trust, NY.  Confirms net settlements for Forward FX transactions verbally and instruct relative custodians via TIS.

Run morning compare process between Chase Views System and Heuther File from Global Plus.  Affirms DTC trades with DCN numbers through Chase Titan System.  Investigates Custody trades without DCN numbers to ensure they are good trades and instructs Custodian on trades by executing them in TIS.
