Designation : Web Developer-IT Wave I- Mercer Outsourcing India
 
Job Description :  To fulfill this role, the developer will:
Design and develop applications for both internal and external clients
Modify existing implementations based on client needs
Rebuild, retest and deploy applications into production environment
Work with business experts to create and enhance the software product through the implementation lifecycle
Test all components including database, DLLs and web interface
Develop system specifications and system documentation
Identify software defects and ensure quality
Serve as a resource to other members of the programming team.

Desired : BS degree in Computer Science, Technical degree or equivalent education
In-depth Internet development experience
Experience with online interactive database applications
Experience with relational databases is a must and Oracle experience is a plus
Ability to work with, develop and debug COM/COM+ components in a multi-tier architecture
Knowledge of ASP,ADO, XML, JavaScript, Visual Basic 6.0, Visual Interdev
Ability to work with, develop and debug .NET (versions 1.1 and 2.0) framework, ASP.NET, C#
Experience with source repository software (VSS, Starteam, etc) will be an added advantage.
