Job Description :

• The applicant will be expected to work in a team oriented environment tackling tasks at various stages in the development process ranging from requirements gathering to implementation and testing.
• Emphasis is placed on the candidate’s contribution to the group and their advancement in understanding and helping extend and maintain Hostway’s technical infrastructure.

Desired :

• 1-2 years web application programming experience using PHP/Perl (professional or academic)
• Knowledge of Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP  (LAMP)
• Expertise in multiple programming languages preferred
• Working knowledge of Sessions, Cookies, XML Structures etc
• Working knowledge of Javascript, AJAX, DHTML and CSS
• Strong programming, analysis and design skills
• Working knowledge of both Unix and Windows in a software development setting. Prefer strength in Unix (all flavors) environment.
• Extensive experience and knowledge of Object Oriented Programming/Development concepts and practices.
• Enthusiasm for solving challenging problems.
