Job Description :

• Manages an organization of professional procurement staff which includes commodity managers, analysts, buyers, and procurement subject matter experts in either an internal and/or outsourced manufacturing environment.
• Develops and implements supply chain and procurement strategies supporting the business objectives of the region/global operation and in concert with the Global/General Business Unit (GBU) supply chain business plan.
• Responsible for meeting internal partner service level requirements ensuring end customer satisfaction.
• Broad areas of responsibilities include the management of the material requirements forecast supporting manufacturing, the procurement of products and services from suppliers and HP internal sources. Specific deliverables include: achieving cost savings goals, executing assurance of supply strategies, development of material replenishment strategies (i.e.; System Management Interface (SMI), buffering levels), direct ship fulfillment, disposition of non conforming material, supplier performance monitoring and delivery of services. Provides leadership for non-exempt and exempt (Entry to Expert level) procurement staff.
