Job Description :
Acquire working knowledge about the regulations and requirements in Europe and India
To access appropriate high quality data from websites, literature and publications in a timely and efficient manner, in response to the needs of the Med Affairs Dept to enable them to address queries/enquiries from business units and customers.
Focused database/literature searching to support business associates with quality scientific information to address competition in the market.
Participate in the preparation of drafts for Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for selected activities to ensure that consistency, allocation of responsibilities, accuracy and timeliness among other things is ensured. Assist the Medical Affairs Department to meticulously implement the SOP.
To proactively prepare lists of pending jobs/work/documentation on ongoing basis, to assist Head Medical Affairs in monitoring, planning and allocation of work for completion of activities on time and ensuring compliance at all the times.
Interact with Pharmacovigilance partner on regular basis to ensure that data flow remains consistent both ways at all the times to support the compliance in the best possible way.
Support the pharmacovigilance partner/team to ensure that Company continues to get the quality service from the vendor
Actively support the pharmacovigilance activities and risk management plans, recommended and/or finalized by the Company or its pharmacovigilance partner.
Maintain accurate details and monitor/track revisions of scientific documents for the products marketed by the Company, such as summary product characteristics (SPC), patient information leaflet/literature (PIL) etc. on ongoing basis (to avoid development of any backlog), in compliance with
The guidance from the Clinical Expert Statement (CES) from Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSUR) received from pharmacovigilance partner and
Approvals from Regulatory Agencies, as information received from the Regulatory Dept.
Harmonize SPC/PIL for different countries (e.g. UK/Ireland), as per the regulatory requirements/variation.
Offer necessary assistance to the business units during PIL user testing.
To undertake travel as per the Company requirements
Carry out the data/literature search. Outsource the data search, when necessary, to get the publications/clinical reports as advised by the Medical Affairs colleagues and in response to request from the business units and Regulatory Affairs.

Desired :
1 yr of experience in the Medical Affairs/Medical Information department, in the pharmaceutical company is desirable
