The India ODC is responsible for designing and architecting complex yet easy-to –implement software products.

The Fast Booking software cuts out the need for hoteliers to manually reply to enquiries, a time delay which can take up to 48 hours, by which time the rooms may no longer be available and important business may have been lost.

Job Description :
Developer will be responsible to take his /her ownership on Development efforts for his/her project /product development out of India ODC so as to develop world-class software products.
The Developer would work very closely with the Team Lead in India and also with HQ in France.
Developer will help define feature sets according to market requirements manage detailed development task schedules to ensure high-quality and on-time product delivery participate in code and design reviews closely track and manage defect resolution and actively contribute to improving the software development process.
Conversant on java, architecture, design and analysis. Able to handle all technologies preferred open systems.
The candidate would be involved in developing web applications and challenging web development projects.
The position will include full development life cycle from requirement analysis to development to final testing. The candidate must be capable of independently handling full –cycle development.
Reporting to Head – Team Lead, India

Desired :
Good communication skills, experience in direct client interaction [US /UK based client communication]
Desirable to have some exposure in team leading and mentoring.
Desirable to have some project planning capabilities.
The candidate should be very proficient with PHP, MySQL. Fundamentals, Classes in PHP , PHP templates with atleast 1 to 2 years of coding experience He/She should be proficient with documentation and working closely with team mates, with excellent communication and presentations skills.
Basic RDBMS concepts
Strong HTTP fundamentals
Strong in Linux Server environment desirable/a.
Working knowledge of XML structures
Capacity to think out of the box/Innovative design skills highly desirable
Experience in developing E- Commerce Websites, B2B, B2C website, DB Based Websites, Intranets, Portals, complex web applications.
He/she should have strong technical knowledge about Commercial Web application and components
Experience in OOAD is preferred.
Knowledge of .NET will be an added advantage
