Job Description :

• Plan, direct and coordinate activities of software projects and ensures that project goals are accomplished and in line with business objectives
• Apply solid understanding of prevailing methods, principles, and techniques of a System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in a single technical area or business function .Develop functional specifications of changes, enhancements, and interfaces
• Develop test scenarios and perform functional & regression testing and document test results. Work with business to perform User Acceptance Testing
• Work with key I.T Team members to document scope statements, use case, define business requirements, perform analysis and provide recommendations for new systems or modifications and reconfiguration of current systems
• Work on diverse software projects of complex size, scope, and complexity
• Report status and keeps management informed of progress, issues and results
• Person will be responsible for providing functional/technical expertise and for providing the know-how to make the applications more viable and robust
• The candidate lead will oversee and participate in the architectural design, development, customization and performance of the Travel XML engine.

Desired :

• Candidates should have experience in integration and programming of at least 1 GDS providers like Galileo, Amadeus, Sabre, World Span etc & other Non-GDS /XML-API Travel Gateway Hotels Pro, Pegasus, LCC etc.
• Experience in integration with other 3rd party API and tools like payment gateways, google /yahoo maps etc
• Experience with Visual Studio 2005/2008, SQL Server 2005/2008.
• 2 to 3 years of experience in managing complex and diverse .NET .Candidates who had done project co-ordination with clients from UK and USA will be preferred
• Knowledge of W3C and Web 2.0 standards with its practical implementation
• Should possess Hands on experience in .NET application based on collaboration.
• Should have broad experience in Programming on ASP.NET (2.0/3.5), WPF, WCF, C#, LINQ, MS SQL (2005/2008), Ajax, WCF-Web Services, XML projects
• Expert in MS SQL Server programming including database object creation/alteration, complex queries, stored procedures, DTS scripts, indexing, Query and Database tuning etc
• Working knowledge of ISO/CMMI Process, System Development Life Cycle and project management methodology and tools
