Job Description :

• The role is a very technical one and will include (and not be limited to the following):
• The role will include 2nd and 3rd line fault escalation on the Firewall and secured web gateway Infrastructure under management.
• Firewall policy review: The successful candidate must be able to critically analyze Security policy documents and translate them into actual firewall configurations (and vice-versa)
• Where appropriate the Security Engineer – Service Assurance will be a key contact on the customer’s escalation path and will have the responsibility of communicating with the customer on security related matters.
• The role requires hands-on “can-do” approach with regard to achieving committed customer SLA, this may require proactive testing of concepts and technical solutions where necessary.
• Proactive analysis of products and services that can assist RGCL in delivering Security Services effectively. Where necessary test and evaluate these and implement into the Security Service Framework.
• Frequent customer infrastructure changes, firewalls, proxy servers, Security logging appliances etc. with little guidance, the successful candidate must demonstrate that they can configure a wide-range of network and security equipments/solutions.

Desired :Ability to apply a logical and thorough application of process with attention to detail

• Excellent communication and team working skills, must be a proactive self-starter
• Previous security operations experience
• An appreciation of ISO 27001 and Sarbanes-Oxley
• Good coordination skill
• Willing to work in shifts
• B.E or Equivalent
• 2+ years of security operations experience
• CISSP / JNCIA / JNCIS / BCCPA / BCCPP / CCSA / CCSP / any other technical or product based security certifications.
