Subject: – DIRECT RECRUITMENT OF HC(MINISTERIAL)

Applications are invited from male Indian Citizens fulfilling the eligibility criteria for filling the vacancies of Head Constable (Ministerial) in the “SASHATRA SEEMA BAL”, ministry of Home Affairs, Govt of India. The last date of receipt of application from is_07.05.2010. However, the closing date of receipt of application by post from the candidates hailing from North Eastern States, Sikkim , Pangi Sub- Division of Chamba, Lahaul and Spiti districts of Himachal Pradesh, ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir State and the Union Territories of Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep will be 14.05.2010. No application will be entertained received after the above date.

Scale of Pay : Rs. 5200- 20200 grade pay Rs.2400/-

Note:- i)10 % vacancies(i.e. 22) are reserved for Ex- Servicemen.
Reservation of vacancies for ex-servicemen will be horizontal.
ii)The posts are temporary but likely to become permanent.
iii)The number of vacancies is subject to change.

Other Allowances : As admissible to the Central Government Employees from time to time under rules.

Place of Duty : Any where within as well as outside the Territory of India.

Age Limit : 18-25 years
Relaxation as per rule

Educational Qualification :

  • Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized Board/ Institute.
    Typing speed 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi.

Application Fee : Application fee will be Rs.50/- (Rupees fifty) only non-refundable for candidates belonging to General and OBC categories. No fee will be charged from SC/ST and Ex-servicemen. Candidates
belonging to General and OBC category shall attach the crossed/non-refundable bank draft or Indian Postal Order, drawn in favour of the authority mentioned at Para-12.
(12) HOW TO APPLY:- Eligible and desirous candidates should send their applications by POST in the prescribed proforma given in Annexure-I, on foolscap paper with the attested passport size photographs duly affixed on the application form and admit card at the space provided for the purpose duly completed
in all respect on or before the closing date to The Staff Officer (Admn) O/O the Inspector General, Frontier Hqr SSB, Kendriya Bhavan,11thfloor,Sector-H, Lucknow, Purnea Crossing,Aliganj,Lucknow,UttarPradesh-226024. The envelope containing the application should be superscribed in Block letters as
“APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF HEAD CONSTABLE (MINISTERIAL) by post: along with the bank draft/IPO) worth Rs.50/- (Non-refundable)Payable to Accounts Officer Ftr Hqr SSB, Kendriya Bhavan, 11thfloor, Sector-H Lucknow, Purnea Crossing, Aliganj, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh-226024, application fee,
attested copies of testimonial and admit card duly filled in. Two self –addressed envelopes duly affixed postage stamps worth Rs.6/- each should also be attached with the application form. Applications received after the last date will not be entertained and summarily rejected. No correspondence will be considered on this account.

DOCUMENTS TO BE ATTACHED WITH THE APPLICATION I.E. ATTESTED COPIES:
(a) Education /Technical qualification certificate (s).
(b) Date of birth certificate (Matriculation or 10th class certificate)
(c) SC/ST/OBC certificate on the prescribed format.
(d) Certificate of bonafide/domicile/PRC of that state from designated revenue authorities for verification of Citizenship of India.
(e) Demand Draft/IPO for Rs.50/- (Non-refundable).
(f) Two self addressed envelopes duly affixed postage stamps worth Rs.6/- each.
(g) Ex-servicemen must submit photocopies of discharge/release certificate in support of claim of ex-servicemen and caste certificate if belongs to SC/ST/OBC on the format prescribed for Central
Govt.
(h) Certificate of achievements in sports,adventure sports, NCC, Scout & Guides and other extra curricular activities, if held by the candidate.
(i) Departmental/Government service candidates must enclose No OBJECTION CERTIFICATE.
(j) Certificates issued by competent authority w.r.t. J&K domicile during 1.1.89 to 31.12.90, Dependents of 1984 riots or 2002 communal riots of Gujarat as the case may be.

(14) IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:-
a) Applications submitted on a format which is not the same as published in this advertisement, are liable to be rejected summarily.
b) Candidate should note that the date of birth as recorded in the Matric OR an equivalent certificate on the date of submission of application will be accepted by the Recruitment Board and no subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted.

c) If the above documents are not submitted along with the application, it will be rejected at any stage during recruitment process.
d) Incomplete or unsigned applications, application without attested photographs will be rejected.
e) Copies of all attested certificates should be clear and legible.
Applications with illegible copies of certificates will be rejected.
f) All candidates in Govt. service whether in permanent or in temporary capacity etc. will be required to submit their application through proper channel alongwith NOC.
g) In case any candidate is found ineligible or suppressing facts or any ground after his election/appointment, his services will be terminated without assigning any reasons.
h) The Government shall not be responsible for damage/injury/loss to the individual, if any, sustained during the entire recruitment process and journey.
i) Candidates canvassing in any form or bringing outside influence/pressure, offering illegal gratification, blackmailing or threatening to blackmail any person concerned with recruitment will be disqualified.
j) Candidates impersonating and submitting the fabricated /forged documents are also liable to be disqualified.
k) Non receipt of any information from SSB Application Receiving Centre may be deemed as rejection of your candidature for which no further correspondence will be made.
l) No TA/DA will be admissible. However, TA to SC/ST candidates will be paid in case they appear in written examination subject to production of Rail/Bus tickets, original Caste certificate, nonemployment
certificate from MP or MLA or any Gazetted Officer of the locality, in case they are not employed in Central /State Govt. candidate should come duly prepared for 7-8 days stay at their own arrangements at the Recruitment Centre.

m) Any shortcoming, which could not be detected by the ARC or by the board at the time of scrutiny of the documents and found/noticed at a later stage, shall render the candidate disqualified for the post and he will not be allowed to appear in subsequent events of the recruitment.
n) The DG SSB has full rights to make changes or cancel/postpone the recruitment without assigning any reason.
Note: After preliminary scrutiny of application “APPLICATION RECEIVING CENTRE , all eligible candidates will be informed about the DATE AND VENUE OF THE RECRUITMENT TEST. Admit cards with this information will be posted on mailing address given in the application as submitted by the candidate. No appeal/representation will be entertained against rejection of application. For postal delay and non receipt of Admit Card, SSB will not be responsible and no correspondence in this regard will
be entertained.
