STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION (SSC) – RECRUITMENT 2008 <> SECTION OFFICER (AUDIT) EXAM

F.No. 3/2/2008_P&P. Staff Selection Commission will hold on 30.11.2008, a competitive examination all over the country for recruitment to the posts of Section Officer (Audit), a Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted Post in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General in the pay scale of Rs. 6500-10500.
Vacancies/ Reservation:
The number of vacancies to be filled is 250 (UR 125/ SC 38/ ST 19 and OBC 68). Out of these 250 vacancies. 04 Vacancies each are reserved for OH & HH. These vacancies are provisional and may increase or decrease.
Age Limit:
Not exceeding 18-27 years as on 18.08.2008. (Relaxable up to 05 years for Central Govt. Employees who have rendred not less than 03 years continuous service oin regular basis as on 18.08.08. Usual age relaxation will be admissible to SC, ST, OBC etc. as per Government Orders in force.
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University as on 18.08.08.
Fee:
Rs. 80/- No fee for SC, ST, ExS and PH candidates. Fee concession is not admissible to sons and daughters of Exs. or persons from Other Backward Classes. Fee can be paid through CRFS only.
Closing Date:
The last date for receipt of application in the concerned Regional Office of the Commission will be 18.08.08 and in the case of candidates residing in remote areas it will be 25.08.08

I received my ssc s.o. (Audit) exam. 2008 admit card on 10th Nov. 2008 but there is a big mistak in my admit card my Date of Birth :-16/09/1979 but by mistak it is priented 16/09/1989 on my admit card.

Okay folks. I spoke to the regional director(NR) SSC. You can take the no. from ssc.nic.in and check the “contact us” info. There you will find the no. of the regional centre PRO no. and all. I was told to wait for another few days and if i do not get the admit card then i have to visit the regional centre(NR), Lodhi road( i am a Delhi candidate) and take the duplicate admit card on either 27,28 or 29th Nov. I suggest those who live far away from the regional centre should call up the regional director no. listed on the website and get the relevant info that you require. I hope it helps.

I have got my Admit card Today. They send it quite late i think to local Delhi Candidates. Meanwhile, if anyone of you do not get the admit card by 25/26 of this month then do visit the regional office at Lodhi road(Check ssc.nic.in) . Best of luck to everyone.

This is just a forum to bring all the like minded people together who are appearing for same exam.
As far as query regarding results and other are concerned go to http://ssc.nic.in/ and contact on the phone numbers given on it.
and one more thing , you should have the address and phone numbers of the Company/Goverment organization for which you have applied for. contact if there is any imergency and need imergent suggestion.
Most are the comment are seem to be written by almost idiots and rural , illitrate people who do not know what should they do , to whom they should contact .

Dear candidates, result of so (audit)2008 has not been declared yet. All SSC results are available on sscresults.nic.in, so you can check it by yourselves.
