Job Description :

• Allocate responsibilities, inform supervisors of the engagement status, and manage staff performance.
• Adapt the audit approach to the changing client environment.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations.
• Liaise closely with the New York team to create a strong communication channel.
• Discuss questions and queries promptly with onshore team, and address issues as they arise.
• Challenge procedures used in the past by onshore and Global Shared Services audit teams and attempt to enhance audit techniques.
• Compare efficiency of audit procedures performed across different clients and suggest ideas for improvement.
• Stay informed of current business/economic developments relevant to the client’s business.
• Bring potential opportunities for extending the work performed by the Global Shared Services to the onshore team’s attention.

Desired :

• Qualified chartered accountants with 3 Years of Articleship.
• Have experience working with MNCs or larger domestic Indian companies
• Have experience serving a hedge fund, mutual fund or private equity client is an advantage
• Have advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Have robust logical and reasoning skills
