Job Description : Syndicate Bank, a Premier Nationalised Bank, invites applications from Indian citizens for the posts indicated here below :
HR/IR Officers in MMGS-II : 55 posts (UR-29, SC-8,ST-4,OBC-14)
Pay Scale : Rs.13820-19920
Age : 25-32 years
Probationary Officers in JMGS-I : 1300 posts (UR-657, SC-195, ST-97, OBC-351
Pay Scale : Rs.10000-18240/-
Age : 21-30 years.
Probationary Clerks : 400 posts (UR-231, SC-60,ST-14,OBC-95) in various states
Pay Scale : Rs.4410-13210/-
Age : 18-28 years.
Age relaxation by Govt. rules.
Application Fee : Officers – Rs.200/- (Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PH) and Rs.150/- (Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PH) Probationary Clerk, should be paid at any branch of the Syndicate Bank in the prescribed payment vouchers. Where there is no branch of Syndicate Bank then can be send in the form of bank DD (saperate for each post) in favour of “Syndicate Bank Recruitment Project -2009″ payable at Udupi.

Dear friends, Syndicate bank is playing games with the lives of our unemployed it seems. The date for notification of recruitment is from December 25th to February 21st and for far-flung areas, it is around March 7th. On March 19th, they have updated their website saying that they are getting many calls regarding the dates of interview and the same will be announced after 2 months. Today, it happened to be June 10th. Still, no progress. Six months (Half year) fully completed. Still they are not announcing and it seems that theyjust announced this recruitment process only to raise funds and if really, they do not have such a timely requirement of human resource, what is the need for such early notification on December 25th itself??? Recently, bank announced a net profit of 913 crores and it seems for the year-ended financial statements look with good figures, they have announced this recruitment process. Really pity for a nationalized bank to do such things. Thatz y, they did not bother to even conduct any exam, itz waste of money. they said only direct interviews and almost attracting all groups of students. I do not think, there would be a serious recruitment and moreover, if they conduct interviews also, it may be a nominal one and i dont think, recruitment would be such a genuine.
So, guys dont hope much from this advertisement and search for better options. Guys, u r welcome to respond to my views.

See the notice from syndicate bank “on or after 04.07.2009 and in respect of Probationary Clerks (Code No.03), the names of shortlisted candidates will be displayed after 15.07.2009″ In gerneral private organisations gives a notification as on or before. but syndicate as says on or after so we dont know what they mean by after. it can be this year or next or it can never happen.
