Designation : Technical Writer or Senior Technical Writer 

Experience : 0 – 5 Years 
 
Location : Pune 

Job Description : Define scope, develop plans, and perform project management for individual or team projects.
Plan, develop, and revise online and printed documentation for end-users of UGS products.
Solve routine and undefined or ambiguous technical communication problems; create information for large and complex or technically challenging projects.
Support text with effective technical illustrations/examples.
Ensure that documents are technically accurate, succinct, user-focused, and free from errors by applying group processes, procedures, and standards.
Resolve assigned problem reports.
Support localization by producing clear concise text and graphics that follow localization guidelines and standards.
Meet assigned deadlines for software releases; organize required resource for projects, including subject matter experts, editing resource, technical reviews, and production resources.
Provide status of projects; communicate changes and issues to other team members, team lead or manager as needed.
 
Desired Profile : Ability to convert ambiguous technical information into comprehensive user-focused tasks.
Ability to work and communicate effectively with a globally-distributed team.
Familiarity with configuration management, workflow, Java clients, OO design, relational databases, or CAD/CAM/CAE software is a plus.
Familiarity with XML authoring tools is a plus.
