Job Description : Looking for UMTS Test Engineer (RF and Protocol). 
Candidate will be working with the next generation 3G wireless terminals based on UMTS/WCDMA/GSM/EDGE/GPRS technologies.

Desired : This position requires sound working knowledge of UMTS/WCDMA/GSM/EDGE/GPRS protocols test specifications such as 3GPP TS 34.123, 34.121, TS 27.060, TS 25.101, TS 24.008, etc test standards. Also requires detailed understanding of communications systems including both physical and upper layers. Able to evaluate wireless communications systems through drive tests, logging and handset and network log analysis manually and through post processing tools. Must be able to develop test procedures, execute tests, and isolate issues accurately.
Candidate must have good verbal and written communication skills, willing to travel and able to work well with team members in a technical environment. Must have ability to work in cross-functional team environment with Product Managers and design team and coordinate testing with H/W and S/W engineers for failure analysis and on customer issues.
