The Indian BPO sector is considered to be a sun shine industry and has been growing by leaps and bounds. There are surveys conducted by NASCOM which takes several parameters into consideration to award the top slot to BPO companies.

In spite of the downturn in the economy these companies continue to employ people in huge numbers.

Therefore, let us look at the 10 best Business Process Outsourcing(BPO) firms to work for in India.


1. The first on the list has to be Genpact based on its sheer size and the number of processes that it handles. The company employs about 35,000 people in India across several verticals. It has won several accolades and has been voted several times over as the best company to work for. The employees are offered continuous training and several perks along with a salary that could be considered a dream a few years ago.

2. WNS Global is next on the list due to several reasons such as the different industries and verticals that it serves in travel, insurance, financial services. Also, they have been increasing their share of the profits which results in better human capital. They have been voted as the best performing company.

3. Next, is IBM Daksh which in its six years of existence has created several professionals and great business opportunities? It is renowned for its leadership and has great potential for people who work for it.

4. Aditya Birla Minacs is a $25 billion global conglomerate and has several prestigious clients under its wings. It serves across several industry verticals and has almost 12,000 employees spanning three continents working for it.

8. Infosys BPO was set up in 2002 and is ranked the leading amongst BPOs. It employs about 17,000 people and hires people annually at campus interviews in large numbers.

9. HCL BPO with a diversified business has 13,000 employees working for it. Its main focus is on verticals such as retain, banking, telecom and so forth.

10. Lastly, EXL Service Holdings with its headquarters in Delaware started its operations in 1999. Since then there has been no looking back for this giant. It has several clients almost 50 and an employee base of about 9000.
