Job Description : Conducting manpower planning in close coordination with the Function Heads; checking the budget against the number of manpower requirements envisaged for each function/ level
Formulating and implementing recruitment strategies
Defining, periodically reviewing and improving recruitment & induction processes to reduce operational costs
Identification, evaluation and selection of placement consultants
Providing them with basic information about the company and roles being hired for.
Ensuring timely sourcing of candidates through consultants, employee referrals, IJPs, campus or head-hunting, & arrangement of interviews, after receiving manpower requisition form from line manager
Understanding the role being hired for in-depth through interaction with the concerned line manager
Interviewing & evaluating candidate, as per the JD defined for the position (Educational & experiential qualifications, competencies, role) & from the HR perspective (job and self aspirations, if retainable), after the assessment of candidate’s technical knowledge by line manager
Providing basic information about the company, role and applicable policies
Understanding candidate’s salary expectations & negotiating on proposed salary with candidate on the basis of the candidate’s last salary slip and salary band point structure; ensuring financial parity with the existing employees; making job offer
Driving tracking of order acceptance / rejection
Checking if candidate potential is higher than that required for the job
Periodically interacting with the candidate after the offer has been made to ensure that they join
Deciding whether or not to pick up the candidate’s notice pay depending on recruitment budget, quality of the candidate and the urgency with which candidate is required onboard
Ensuring preparation of employee induction & orientation program with inputs from Training team & Function heads
Facilitating & coordinating the conduction of 3 part induction program after 20 days of employee joining
Ensuring collection, collation & analysis of employee feedback
Relationship management with internal key customers.
Interacting with and managing recruitment consultants/vendors; obtaining information about other competitors organization structure, salaries offered
Ensuring payout of referral bonus for candidates hired through employee referrals
Conducting referral checks for candidates hired after 1 month of joining
Tracking market & competition trends
Ensuring updation recruitment status on Oracle module
Desired : 0-2yrs years of experience in recruitments/ HR generalist role
